My biokleen detergent says it contains no SLS, dyes or perfumes. But it also says “surfactant-degreasers and conditioners from coconut and/or corn” Hmmmm….

It’s a plus that it claims no SLS. What I don’t like is that Biokleen doesn’t disclose their ingredients on their website. Surfactants from coconut or corn are not *necessarily* a bad thing. Think about castile soap, a great soap choice, which is olive and/or coconut oil treated with strong bases. It really depends on how the surfactants are treated and what chemicals are used to get the final product, which is why it would be nice to see more info on their site. And you may or may not want to be concerned whether or not the corn is GMO ;-)
